The Deepest Kind of Blue (Hilbert x Hilda)The burning sensation in Hilbert’s lungs had grown unbearable, forcing him to stop. His back slumped backwards and his eyes skyward. Slowly, the worn and sweat-drenched rim of his baseball cap slid backwards and dropped to the ground. The Deepest Kind of Blue (Hilbert x Hilda) by YYugoslavia
He looked back over the bridge, squinting in the heat for anyone he could recognize. No one, even in the sea of people he was looking at.
Picking his hat up, Hilbert shrugged his pack back into its normal position and continued walking. He didn’t replace his hat on his head, instead letting the cool Castelia wind batter the mess of bed-head hair that slowly unfurled from his hat.
Hilbert continued walking. His legs moved tiredly, sagging in the worn jeans. The shoelaces had come undone once again. Hilbert only gave the sorry state of his clothing a passing glance, and continued to walk, tripping over his flopping shoelaces.
A passing Pidove overhead made a thick and warm white mark on his blue windbreaker. When he reached to wipe it away, he r

Disappointingly, there was a sign on the door stating that the gym was closed for the day due to the Leader having a personal day.
Chase could not believe his luck. Two of the first three gyms he visited were closed. After the frustration of meeting Delilah the day before, and all the preparation he'd done for that day, he was furious. He began to stomp around the door of the gym, cursing and yelling at the building, the sky, anything.
A kid was walking past and saw the commotion, so he stepped over to Chase and tugged on his shirt. Chase stopped stomping when he felt the tug. He looked around and saw the kid staring up at him. He composed himself and asked what the child wanted.
"If you're here for Misty, I know where she is," the boy said.

The pain was terrifying and miserable, but to say that it was unbearable was hyperbolic at best. After all, he bore it. That wasn’t to say he had been entirely successful: he had faded in and out of consciousness many a time in the first few weeks. Even now, sleep occasionally dampened the pain. Thousands of Zubat chased him out of the cave, blocking out the sun in the process. After circling the skies for a few seconds the Zubat poured into to the cave as quickly as they emerged.
Chase continued to run until one of the onlookers informed him that the Zubat had gone. He turned around to look, and laughed maniacally.
"Ha! I win! You couldn't beat us! We're the best team ever! Right Nidoran!?" Nidoran was still panting from the running, so he nodded in agreement. Chase laughed again as he fell to the ground. He lifted his closed hand closer to his face to marvel at the treasure he had unc
